Due to the specific dimensions necessary for coopering traditional oak barrels and casks, barrel producers reject an overwhelming majority of usable barrel wood from these ancient trees. The barrel industry calls this “waste” – we call it treasure. We are able to purpose this premium wood for our oak complement products because we are not limited by the restrictions of tradition and form.
It takes hundreds of years to grow these magnificent relics and we wish to honor their contribution by using every inch of their premium grade bounty.
We have 2 lines of French Oak Complements – our standard French Range and our Revere French Range. Both lines employ the same high quality sourcing, but undergo different toasting protocols and seasoning regimens.
